MY DAD BOUGHT THIS NEW FOR MY MOM IN THE MID 40'S
CABINET AND CHAIR ARE IN LIKE NEW CONDITION
RUNS VERY GOOD EXCEPT FOR THE LAST TIME SHE TRIED TO USE IT
IT KEPT BREAKING THREAD. SHE WAS TOLD IT WAS A BAD NEEDLE,
A BAD BOBBIN OR THE TENSION NEEDLE ADJUSTED,
OR A COMBINATION OF THESE.
It belonged to my late mother and was purchased new in 1949 in Fort Worth Texas. The model number is a 15, serial number is AJ066029 with a number 42 cabinet, date of manufacture; March 9th., 1949, 50,000 units manufactured. The cabinet is not in the best of condition as the unit was stored in the metal shed where it is located for the past 14 years +/-.
